Painting I: Watercolor Apples

The very first project in Painting I is to gain some watercolor skills by painting fruits and vegetables.  The students were told to pick apart the different colors they saw in their edible still life objects and figure out how to layer the colors, look for shadows and consider the shape of the objects.  They learned to be patient and wait for the water to dry.  Some of their fruits look good enough to eat!
