AP Painting: Portrait of my Parents

The first big painting project for the Studio Painters was to paint a portrait of their parents.  Some students took the assignment as a challenge for technical skills, other students explored more spiritual portraits of their parents.  What interesting results!

Painting II: Repeated Shape Painting

To get their wheels turning, the Painting II students were assigned to make a painting using repeated shapes.  They were given a choice of watercolor or acrylic and to paint on a 10"x10" square.  There were many great solutions to the problem!
